Best two-handed burrito
Winner: Villa Mexico
In early 2013, when this friendly little spot lost its home inside a gas station on Beacon Hill, many regulars thought they’d never enjoy Julie and Bessie King’s sublime burritos ever again. Fortunately, the burritos made a triumphant return when the Kings reopened the restaurant in a new space, complete with window seating, on Water Street in the Financial District. The part-chewy, part-crunchy burritos come overstuffed with beef, chicken, chorizo, or mole poblano, punctuated with a rich, smoky salsa. Top it off with a side of buttery rice and earthy black beans. –Marc Hurwitz
