Finding a parking spot in Boston is hard. Having to rely on quarters makes it even harder. Meet ParkBoston, a free mobile app that enables drivers to pay for parking without spare change. Simply find a space with the ParkBoston decal on the meter, open the app, and enter your zone number, license plate, and length of stay, which you can extend from your phone. ParkBoston launched in early 2015 through a collaboration with the Boston Transportation Department, the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, and PassportParking, a company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. –Lauren Landry
